According to eMarketer the usage of online video among the 100 leading retailers increased by 18 percentage points between Q4 2009 and Q4 2010.

ComScore has just released data from its Video Metrix service, showing that 170 million Internet users in the United States watched online video in February 2011 for an average of 13.6 hours per viewer and engaged in 5 billion viewing sessions

Forbes found more than 75% of C-Suite Executives surveyed said they watch work-related online video at least weekly. 65% of C-suite Executives report visiting a vendor’s website after watching their online video.

ComScore's 2010 Mobile Year in Review revealed 4 out 5 purchased mobile phones in 2010 were smartphones. So far in 2011, the average viewer spends 42 percent more time watching online videos than they did in 2010.

CBS Interactive Business Network reported Americans viewed five billion online videos in December 2010, an average of 14.6 hours of online video per viewer.  Company websites that display video convert 30 percent more visitors into buying customers.
